MESSAGE FROM SECRETARY
As SNEHPAD celebrates its 20th year of service, we take pride in a journey dedicated to community empowerment, sustainable livelihoods, and inclusive development across Northeast India.
Over these two decades, we have worked tirelessly to empower marginalized families through sustainable livelihoods, skill development, entrepreneurship promotion, and community institution building. Our journey has been guided by a commitment to creating lasting change that enables individuals to achieve self-confidence, financial independence, and dignified livelihoods
As of now, SNEHPAD is actively implementing Cluster Development Projects among weavers, artisans, and organic farmers across Northeast India. By promoting strong community-based institutions and establishing decentralized Common Facility Centres (CFCs) and Yarn Banks, we are creating an enabling ecosystem that enhances productivity, strengthens value chains, improves market access, and facilitates financial inclusion. These initiatives not only support sustainable livelihood generation but also preserve traditional skills and local resources while fostering inclusive and community-led economic growth
I extend my sincere gratitude to our valued partners UNDP-TERI, Mission Samriddhi, ONGC, KVIC, EDII, and Rang De for their continued trust and support. As we celebrate this important milestone, SNEHPAD remains committed to building stronger communities, nurturing entrepreneurs, and creating sustainable pathways for inclusive growth and rural prosperity.
