SUPPORT SNEHPAD

Society for North East Handmade Paper Development (SNEHPAD) is a voluntary organization established in 2005 with its headquarters at Jorhat, Assam. The organization works towards promoting handloom, handmade paper, natural fibre, sustainable agriculture, entrepreneurship development, skill training, and integrated village development across Northeast India.

SNEHPAD is currently focused on strengthening the handloom sector and empowering weavers, artisans, organic farmers, women, and marginalized communities through Cluster Development Projects, Common Facility Centres (CFCs), Yarn Banks, livelihood interventions, and community-based development initiatives. The organization also undertakes environmental and welfare activities including tree plantation drives, health camps, yoga training, livestock vaccination, and distribution of tools and equipment to needy beneficiaries.
